WHOOP tells you how recovered you are. It doesn’t plan your cycling or running weeks. ownathlete does, built around your WHOOP every morning.
WHOOP, in short
A recovery score each morning, a daily strain target and weekly goals you set. What we didn’t find on its site: a ride or run plan for the weeks ahead that moves when your recovery does.
Your WHOOP, read by a coach
- Every morning, on its own. Your recovery, HRV, resting heart rate and sleep arrive from your WHOOP, with nothing to type.
- Read against your own normal. Together with yesterday’s session and what’s coming next, never as a traffic light.
- A red morning isn’t a lost week. A late night is weighed with everything else, and the 4th flat morning in a row after a hard block can mean more.
- Every session counted. Your rides and runs come from your watch or bike computer: Garmin, Wahoo, Polar or Suunto.
- On your watch. Workouts go to your Garmin, rides to a Wahoo ELEMNT.
