You’ll miss sessions. Work runs late, a child gets sick, the weather turns.
A lot of plans deal with that by pushing the session into tomorrow. Do that twice and you’re tired, behind, and doing things in the wrong order. Your coach rebuilds the week instead.
Each new fact gets a look
A missed day is a new fact. So is a ride that synced 3 days late, a short night, or a race that moved. When anything new comes in, your coach looks at the whole plan again straight away, not at the end of the week.
Missed is fine
Tell your coach “work got in the way”, or let your watch show that nothing happened. Often the easy session just goes, and the hard one finds another day if it still makes sense. What counts is the next 7 days, so nothing is owed for the last one.
Off plan still counts
Rode with friends instead of the intervals? Walked for 3 hours instead of a 40-minute run? The day is marked off plan, not missed, and the days around it take it into account.
What you were asked stays on record
Every day keeps 2 things: what the plan asked for, fixed when the day ends, and what you actually did, which can still change if a file arrives late. That’s how your coach can notice a pattern, like 4 rest days in a row you rode through.
Your hard lines
Can’t train on Wednesdays? Say it once and the week is built around it. And you can always ask why a session sits where it does.
Forgot to record a session? Write “did the run, 40 minutes not 50”, and it’s logged as done, with your minutes.
